I am feeling very stressed trying to juggle the increased distance driving, a job that puts me under a lot of pressure and that I increasingly resent and the DIY that still needs to be done in the flat - because it's so small I keep tripping over my tools and paint buckets because I have nowhere to put them. My sleep suffers so I feel tired all the time, it's a vicious cirle!

I could certainly do with a nice man now who would welcome me with a big hug and a cooked meal after a busy day! My affair with aformentioned lover fizzled out when I moved. It upset me more than I thought it would. I did like him lots and he was the tastiest frog ever, but hey, not the prince for me.

Highlight of the month is Claudi's 40th birthday party (yes, another!) in Cologne. We have been close friends since the age of six and there are a lot of other old friends from my schooldays too. She celebrates in the "Wolkenburg", kind of like a stately home in the town centre, a beautiful building and a gorgeous warm summer's night. All in all a wonderful evening.
